I was tring to download data from shared folder by using download an archive of I unselected everything and just archived google drive, where it gave me the option of selecting a maximum download size. I tried to download the shared folder,it got download but many files were missing. If you try to download a shared folder that is larger than 2GB at the web, the Google system divides and compress folders to be less than 2GB per one. This is a behavior that takes into account the 2GB limitation of older Windows systems. I think that the same should be true for shared folders. If you still have files that you can't download, you should confirm what I already wrote in last my reply "you can't do it if the owner prohibits downloading".
